
 I graduated from the Univer-
sity of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in 1984 with a Bachelor of Primary Education. I then spent the next seventeen years as a teacher, educator and facilitator.
In addition to invaluable international experience gained in teaching in Tokyo for two years I also taught at Forres School, Herschel Preparatory School, Western Province Preparatory School and Reddam House in Cape Town. It was during these years that I explored creative ways of bringing about learning and transformation through the med-ium of art, music, rhythm and storytelling.

I left the formal teaching sector at the end of 2002, to pursue my love of storytelling to children and adults, full-time. The journey has been rewarding and the response has been gratifying. It has been my privilege and delight to watch listeners of all ages, captivated by the power of storytelling!
